September 21, 2023 - This is a very tasty 11 year old Chardonnay from Napa valley. Drinking very nicely now.
Golden in color, and medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with mild complexity. Crisp and refreshing.
Showing ripe citrus fruits, limes, oak, light vanilla, spices and herbs.
Soft and smooth without too much oak. Gentle and elegant, and feels like a white Burgundy.
Aged nicely and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.
Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.
13.6% alcohol by volume.

May 22, 2015 - Very well done. The wine leans to the vanilla side of things a bit, but overall is a very restrained acid driven style of wine. Notes of apple, pear, nutmeg, and vanilla creme. Med/full bodied with a nice acidic bite on the end. I feel that this wine has some time left before it shows it's true colors.
