Nose: Bread crust and creme brulee. Lemon. Wet stone
Palate: Creamy palate, lemon and yeast. Medium-full body, medium-high acidity. Long finish. Hint of bitter and shellfish. Salty
Finish: medium
Light for being so old - pleasant and refreshing. The perlage goes a bit fast -

January 21, 2021 - Inauguration bottle. Apple, lemon, mineral. Very nice acidic grip. Tiny bubbles. A bit of an odd aftertaste that keeps this from scoring higher. I liked more than B.W, but it may have been the company. :) 91-92

August 12, 2019 - A blend of 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay, all from Grand Cru vineyards, and bottled with zero dosage. Dry, ripe, crisply-woven notes of loquats, apples, preserved lemons, and sea spray are laced with a pin-prick bead, lively acidity, and a kiss of caramel. It doesn’t have the depth I expected but it’s shapely and elegant, and shows good concentration and richness.
