  September 15, 2018 - I love this wine. It has been one of my favorite chardonnays for years. This bottle was a birthday present from a friend and was well chosen. It is a beautiful pale gold in color with great legs. Even cold, it has a lovely nose. It is very clean on the palate full of chardonnay fruit but no cloying thickness. It has great mouthfeel. It starts out light with a touch of acid and then adds the tropical fruit dimension. The flavors evolve for at least a minute with a long complex finish. I think this is a stellar example of California chardonnay - not the supermarket variety in any way.

  September 16, 2015 - Acidic, fruit butter but not big. Grows in your mouth...age for 3-4 years. Lasts on the finish...mouth gets olive oil "oily" on the mouth.again not a Chardonnay fan but want to expand my wine vocab so tasting a few.

  September 16, 2015 - Light, floral sweet nose. Acid, Apple, grapefruit to taste. Slight oak to finish. Surprising complexity. It doesn't get big in your mouth, but it does grow in your mouth. Age this wine to experience a longer finish, more complexity. Will taste honey after it has been aged (2 to 6 years). It will be very good if you are willing to age. Cellar wine.
