  April 6, 2016 - Grandes Pagos Tasting (Oyamel - Washington, DC): Smells fresh and tropical, like guava and banana with some flinty, oceanic notes. A creamy texture on the palate (this spends more than a year on the lees), but bright acidity. Flavors of banana, orange and lemon peel, I get a brisk salinity in this wine and flavors of cut flower stems and lingering minerality. Very crisp, long-lasting, has the power to stand up to some spice, though.

  February 27, 2016 - Bright, rich yellow. Expressive nose showing lovely ripe yellow stone fruit, floral notes, lemon zest, crushed stones. On the palate quite round and a little creamy with good acidity showing pure fruit, lots of freshness and intensity. Towards the end lifted and slightly bitter, very good length. 91-93
