  April 27, 2024 - I thought this was showing nicely- decant x 1 hr- with steak. No rush but I wouldn’t have any qualms about trying now-like the blend put together by Heidi Barrett- - I think 53%cab sauv, 16% cab franc, 17.5% merlot rest petit Verdot. Aged in French oak for 20m and close to 15% alcohol. It has flavors of dark plum with some black pepper and graphite- tannins now well integrated. This is more a medium body than a monster cab/ really nice

  September 15, 2017 - Got a splash decant, then we dove in.
  
  Solid showing for this wine; better than the last time I pulled. I think this is getting into a good zone. We were pretty underwhelmed with the 2014 Rindo when we tasted in Napa back in June, so I wanted to see if the 2012 was still a good one for me. It is - for me, 2012 has more fruit and less oak than the 2014.
  
  Can probably let it lie down for a few more years and see some additional integration and improvement, but happy to have this one.
