April 4, 2015 - Very good. Marvellous value at $10. Like the traditional E&Ts of years ago. 14.5% alc.
Colour: dark chocolate
Bouquet: red and black berries, black olives, touch of dried herbs and vanilla
Palate: good mix of varietal and regional characters, touch of mint, dried herbs, morello cherries, cedar and fine grained oak tannins, spice and black pepper. Medium bodied, soft, good long clean finish and very balanced despite high alcohol which is not obtrusive at all.
