  October 5, 2017 - Serving a bit on the cool/cold side adds to it's flavor and mouth feel right now. Had it with wild salmon and fall squash. Nice match.

This totally hit the spot, and maybe the best showing of this bottle (served it a little colder this time, as it was in an ice bucket). Nose with pear and a touch of oxidative character. A bit oily on the palate, but more pear and spice. Shows a touch of heat on the finish.

  July 10, 2017 - This bottle wasn't bad, but it's tasting a bit more oxidized. On the nose, ripe spiced pear. On the palate, good acidity, but seems to have lost a step from what I remember. A touch spicy and more pear and apple follows. Shows a bit more creaminess than before on the mid, but good slightly spicy finish.

  November 2, 2016 - Notes pretty much identical to last time, though perhaps slightly less oxidative at the outset. Loads of spiced pear on the nose, a touch of sherry and maybe some caramel notes. On the palate, still gripping acidity, and good body. Better showing than the previous bottle.
