January 31, 2024 - The bouquet simply jumped out of the glass to reveal classic notes of brioche. There were minerally fruit flavours of red apples and raspberries developing buttery, yeasty breadcrumb characters, ending with a delightful lingering milk chocolate finish. Really fresh and zingy with a hint of residual sweetness on the finish. A great value grower’s Champagne. CHP 91 pts

January 19, 2024 - Rich & full-bodied this had delicious red apple and raspberry fruit developing breadcrumbs and a lingering sweet milk chocolate finish. Fresh, the bright acidity kept the dosage in check and all in all a delightful pouring Champagne for a chill winter night. CHP 91pts

February 12, 2023 - From a .375. Lovely ! Autolytic (brioche) and oxidative dimensions are very nicely managed adding depth and interest, while the overall impression is still one of freshness. A really charming NV Champagne that worked nicely with Japanese food, but I'd happily drink by itself. I would like to try it side by side with Bollinger (probably my preferred of the Grand Marques). Very, very good value
(70 % pinot, 20 % Chard, 10 % Meunier; 50% 2020 Harvest & 50% reserve wine 'Solara 2010', I believe about 95% Premier Cru fruit - disgorged 2022 - reading the other reviews, which could all have been of this wine, suggests good year-on-year consistency too)

December 23, 2022 - Very good champagne! Pinot noir dominant & nice subtle brioche finish.

July 17, 2021 - Champagne play date, from magnum. 75% pinot noir, 15% chardonnay, 10% Meunier. 55% from 2017, 45% reserve wines from 2016, 2015, Solera 2010. Bottled April 2018, disgorged Dec 2020. Deliciously savoury and biscuit, strong effervescence, lovely crisp finish.
