June 25, 2017 - Maybe because I have had a number of Rose's this summer, now my evaluation of this is much higher than before. There is a complexity on the nose that is absent from most other domestic Rose's I have had recently. On the nose, peaches, honeysuckle, tart tangerine, with some lovely earth notes. Very smooth on the palate, with notes of spearmint, strawberry, fresh green twigs, and some lovely acidity that supports a nice medium to long finish. This is not a sweet wine by any means, though I know the description might suggest that. This is a Rose that is to be contemplated and enjoyed over an evening. A slightly tart/bitter finish makes this slightly less good than the Delille I had a few years ago. Still a wine worth seeking out.

March 19, 2017 - Much darker red. Very strong nose and even stronger palate of green pepper, dry slate. I find this very intriguing. A bit harsh at first but the flavors are pulling together with some time in the glass. This strikes me as a wine that could use a year or two more in the bottle. On day two the green pepper has receded (though Jen can’t get past it).

June 12, 2016 - Excellent Rose of Cab Franc. Great value bottle. Wild strawberry, cranberry juice, white pepper, perfume. Juicy, crisp, well balanced. Perfect pairing with a ping pong table in the sunny afternoon!
