June 3, 2017 - Fruit forward, a mix of pomegranate and raspberry with distinctive herbal and violet characteristics. Structured for near term drinking with medium to full body and clean flavors. Minimal oak flavors. Quite good, definitely satisfies the vintners' intent of a distinctive "by the glass" red.

February 21, 2016 - Good multiple layers of red fruits, my wife smells some bubble gum. Like a cross between a Southern Rhone wine and a Burgundy. Fun, interesting wine, good acidity to go with dinner.

January 17, 2016 - Delicious and interesting wine. Sativa's little sister but stands alone. Each sip I find a new fruit. I will buy myself more. Great acid backbone. Very delicious.

January 10, 2016 - Tart cherries, fresh, earthy; nice acid. Fun, juicy unique california table wine.

December 23, 2015 - 100% Carignan dry-farmed, head-pruned from Talmage, southeast of Ukiah. Lots of red fruit, acidity a bit spiky at times, touch of electricity on palate, tannins integrate easily with food, easy tableside companion, value-oriented red, enjoyed with pizza with mushroom and calabrian chili, rigatoni, lentils with beet and artichoke
