November 20, 2014 - Stored in wine cooler at 54 degrees from day 1 Poured through an aerator straight into a cab glass. Let sit 15 minutes. Delicious. The bouquet of fruit coming from this wine is incredible! Straight forward fruit on the pallette but not porty at all. Not hot like most 15% Zins. Very enjoyable smooth as silk wine with allot of character still left in this 10 yr old Zin. Glad I held on to it. Going to look for more.

January 29, 2010 - Classic, jammy, zin-forward Rosenblum wine. Decanted for 1 hr, drank over another hour; by the 3 hr mark, my guests were saying it was borderline port-like. But I don't hold that against this wine - very fruity, laced with oak, and everything I expect from Rosenblum.

March 31, 2007 - Decanted for about an hour and served in generic Cabernet glasses. Rich dark color, gave up very little fruit. Fairly firm tannins. Some oakiness and a very strong flavor of dark chocolate. The wine was very nice and really should have been allowed another year or two to see where it would have been.

Almost tasted April 2, 2006 at WineDrinkerofTexas’ home. Opened and served immediately in a house Cabernet sauvignon glass. Crimson color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Yikes! TCA! Time for a science experiment. Ran one glass through a plastic baggie for about 15 minutes. Returned to glass and compared to another glass that didn’t undergo the treatment. TCA level in the treated glass was noticeably lower than the untreated glass but still not drinkable. Back in the bottle and back to the retailer it goes.
