  December 31, 2014 - Quite expressive initially, yeast and toast mixing with fresh red cherries and red apples. Full bodied, and tightens up with air, becoming quite savoury. A food Champagne if there ever was one. Great power here too, vintage no doubt giving a little extra fruit depth.

  October 10, 2014 - Finely wrought at first. With time open, after about an hour and a half, the wine was livelier, with a deep, umami taste and an almost glossy texture. A laser focus, never showing much acid but not tasting sweet at all either, completely unlike the see-saw of acidity and sweetness I experienced and loved in the last rosé champagne from Ledru that I drunk. There was a faintly rosey-chalky smell but the champagne was a little closed on the nose throughout, if wildly delicious in taste.

  September 4, 2014 - Very pretty; fresh red berried fruit, cream, biscuit, and higher toned citrus zest notes coming together on a rather light frame with bright acids and effervescence beneath. It gets more complex and nuanced with air, and this is really refreshing from first sip to last.
