November 25, 2021 - Drinking really well with many more years of good life ahead and may even continue to evolve. Opened about 4 hours in advance, which was about right. A beautiful expression of Nuits St George.

August 16, 2017 - 2 hr decant, while still a big wine in the sense of ripeness, black cherry, this has evolved nicely, nice tannin, forest floor somewhat, quite rich in extract. Not an elegant LSG but petty good. Still a long life ahead. No oak showing.

May 7, 2016 - Ruby. Game, green herbs, and red fruit. Medium to full bodied. A touch of char, ripe cherry, and average acidity. Some tartness toward the finish, not as much breadth or depth as I'd like from this great cru, but very creditable performance nonetheless.
