May 7, 2022 - PnP kraftig moden lukt med omboplomme. Feit smak med tydelig modning. Positiv opplevelse. Voks, hylletred, Fin til chevre

September 4, 2019 - the wine has passed it's consumption window, no way it will last until 2027. could be in phase, but doubt it. Subtle tones of petrol/terpentin and very yellow on colour.

September 9, 2015 - I loved this in its youth, but time and cork seal have not been good to it. Oxidized and nutty. C-

August 29, 2015 - Nærmest uforandret :-D Deilig svært fyldig og godt balansert vin, ingen tegn til modning, går fint til Jarlsberg

Rockss and Fruit

(Domaine de Belliviere "l'Effraie" Coteaux de Loir) I truly think that the whites of Belliviere took a huge step up in quality in '04. I have always liked their wines but '04 in white took it to another level. The '04 reds are good but I prefer the '02's and even the '01's. But that's another story. Pure nose of stone fruits and wooly minerality. What is striking about the nose is the purity and fresh quality of the aromas. The palate was blazing acidity but beautiful steely Chenin fruit that just bursts on the finish with the acidity keeping it in check. Wonderful with a rock shrimp, arugula, endive, radicchio and tangerine salad. Great wine that has the structure for ageing.
