November 3, 2021 - Very mellow wine with quite a bit of fruit remaining but nicely balanced across the palate with a medium long finish. Wine slightly past peak probably scoring higher if consumed 12-18 months ago. Went very well with vension

May 23, 2021 - The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like flint and forest floor. It tastes like red currant and cherry. The body is medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. Opened and poured a glass right away. Fantastic right out of the bottle. Will continue to age for a few more years

April 13, 2018 - ThIs was a beautiful wine. The color was an amazing deep ruby red. The flavor was delicious. It had a lot of depth.

June 30, 2017 - 30 minutes uncorked plus 30 in a wide-bottomed decanter. Garnet color fading to a clear meniscus. Expansive aromas offer blueberries and cassis with hints of wet rubber, cool evergreen, and dry Bazooka bubble gum. The palate brings medium-intensity flavors of blueberries, boysenberries, and cassis carried along by a very silky, polished texture all the way through and closes with a very surprisingly spicy Zin-, not Zen, like finish. With another 60 mnutes of air, the spiciness faded. The acidity and alcohol (14.5% ABV) are well-masked by the polish.
