November 16, 2023 - This wine is nearing the end of its outstanding drinking window. Dark fruit, Mediterranean spice, garrigue and floral notes jump out of the glass. This wine still has the “X” factor that I seek in a wine. Great juice.

September 17, 2023 - Dark fruit, Mediterranean spice, garrigue and a touch of licorice come together in this outstanding Priorat. The tannins have softened and everything is in the right place. This wine has the ‘X’ factor that I seek in wine. A producer that is well under the radar. Great juice.

July 10, 2023 - Pop and pour. This is showing beautifully, very masculine with smoked chocolate, bacon fat, chewy tannins, wet earth. Delicious.

September 2, 2022 - This needed a good hour on pop and pour to settle down, then a spicy, smoky Carignan blend still youthful with strong tannins. Better with food at this point.

December 14, 2021 - Pop and pour. This is still showing beautifully with about a half-hour of air. Mocha, bright acid, firm tannins, black and red fruit.
