September 4, 2023 - Deep purple with medium plus intensity, developing aromas of violet, blackberry, raspberry, vanilla, cedar, caramel,. This wine is full bodied with high alcohol, medium acidity, medium plus tannins and medium plus intensity flavors. This wine has flavors of violet, blackberry, vanilla, caramel, black pepper, anise.
The alcohol overwhelmed the fruit and secondary flavors. Even after a three hour decant, the alcohol was still overwhelming. -

February 21, 2023 - Opens with notes of blackberry, plum, and dark cherry, notes of vanilla and earth on the finish. Fruit forward in the Aussie style. 15% ABV. Tannins seemed fully resolved. In a nice drinking window right now, and will probably remain so for at least 5 more years.

January 7, 2023 - Decanted 1 hr. Lively tastes of darker fruits, cherry & plum. Medium body. Drank over 2 days. Day 2 was not quite as lively as day 1.

December 31, 2022 - Glad this is my last bottle of the 2013. It appears to be on the downward slope. They were lovely while they lasted.

August 26, 2022 - Bottle 2 of 2,had the 1st bottle 4 months ago. Enjoyed this bottle even more. A bold, rich, flavor intense wine but at 9 years it's smooth and luscious. Blackberry, black plum, vanilla, pepper, blueberry. Well worth the $45 I paid.
