  April 9, 2019 - Cranberry, red and black cherry, herbal but not green, spices. Barely medium bodied but no shortage of flavour and personality. Easy to like.

  September 3, 2018 - Really enjoy this wine with its dark cherry and cranberry fruit with spice and herbs. Fairly light in body and slightly tart but it’s crisp and fresh. It’s light in tannin too but it gives it just enough structure.

  June 9, 2018 - Only light bodied with black and red cherries, plums, pepper, spices and dried flowers. Fragrant and fresh with ultra fine tannins. Good drinking.

  April 28, 2018 - {diam, 12%} Medium garnet, youthful-looking. Nose is initially dank and smokey, but opens up with air to a spicy, tangy, orange-and-mandarin infused yet still red aroma. The palate is light-bodied, slightly developed, tasting of rotting berries, slightly dark and earthy, with medium acid, low/minimal tannin, and little oak evident. And there's a distinct tobacco note which pervades too. It steers a nice line of 'drinkability', getting lighter with air, nor more than short length really, but nicely balanced anyway. OK for 5 years so far, but will probably just fade gently with more time.
