Community Tasting Notes 2

July 8, 2018 - Nice Pinot from 2 Lads, likely the best winery in Michigan in my humble opinion. Cherry, black cherry, hints of eucalyptus, cola, graphite, medium(-) acid, soft tannins, short finish, great with salmon. Even better than when we tastes at the winery on release.

May 20, 2015 - Tasted at the winery on the Old Mission peninsula. Presents as a brilliant ruby color. Nose is complex and interesting, with cherry pits/skin, teakwood, beach sand, and a touch of menthol or eucalyptus. The palate sees bright red fruit (cherry) on the attack as well as some black fruit (black cherry) on the midpalate. Meidum(+) acid and medium(-) tannin give this a balanced structure. Medium(+) finish of black cherry. "Very good," 88/100.
