September 24, 2019 - Eclectic Older Wines from the Rare Wine Company with Mannie Berk (The Morris, San Francisco): Medium yellow. Fresher aromas than the Dauvissat Forest. Floral, herbal tones. Bigger than that wine although relatively lean for Raveneau and not that waxy texture they can have. Tons of salinity and soil with excellent fruit to support it. In great shape, not a bit too loose or ripe.

August 20, 2019 - Dinner at Nico Osteria (Nico Osteria, Chicago IL): The nose is a thing of beauty after just a bit of swirling to wake it up. The nose is deep and mature with gorgeous tones of red apples, pears, flint, custard, vanilla beans, tidal pool aromas, creams, and some yellow flowers. The Medium bodied feel is textured and refined with crisp and well-integrated, high acidity. The feel is seamless with a lovely and long finish that doesn't want to stop. This is right in the zone and its just beautiful.

June 23, 2017 - Fading and thing. While perhaps not the best bottle, a disappointing performance in all respects. 88-

March 10, 2016 - Absolutely splendid. Fresh and inviting nose of mint, fennel and lemon juice along with some mineral reduction. It is textured in the mouth with layers, of citrus, flora and mineral, It has a dollop of butter and finishes with outstanding cut.
