June 24, 2023 - Aged in 35% new French oak.
Rich aromas of lemon curd, melted butterscotch, and apple toffee come with notes of baking spice, nectarine, vanilla creme brulee, brioche, orange blossoms and hints of sea mist and wet stone.
The palate is creamy with mouth filling textures. Acidity is moderate/moderate-plus. Rich flavors combine notes of lemon curd, baked apple, and white peach with brioche, baking spice, vanilla custard and butterscotch.
The 2013 is in an absolutely outstanding spot right now. -

June 17, 2019 - fantastic Oregon chard. WE review is spot on..."A thrilling wine, this impresses instantly with its detail and definition. Vividly fruity with a mix of melon, apple and stone fruits, this tangy, toasty effort has nuanced notes of herb and mineral as well. Drink now through 2030. (drink 2015-2030)"

May 28, 2016 - Huge bouquet, citrus, floral. On the palate crisp acidity especially at the beginning. Needed 30 min to open. Citrus, floral, mineral, crisp. Burgundy old world style. Concentrated and layered. Delicious. (BYO at Palme d'Or restaurant)

March 13, 2016 - I'm a huge fan of Brittain wine in general, but this one really blows the mind. There's great acidity obviously due to age, but it has such an amazing palate, citrus, stone fruit, kettle corn, etc. It's the wine that I pour for my wife, and she says "Oh gawd, what is this?" The finish is more Burgundian than any other Oregon Chardonnay that I've tried and it carries long. I've had this wine multiple times with seafood, but it works well with duck, pork and beef as well. It's really a wine worth having in the cellar, but it's hard to keep your hands off when you know it's such a fail safe wine. Not assigning a number, but it would be hard to find a better Oregon Chard.
