July 2, 2022 - An Epic Summer Wine Weekend; 7/1/2022-7/3/2022 (Muskoka, Ontario, Canada): This pours medium garnet, bricking is medium. The nose is fairly classic Bordeaux of dry hay, tobacco leaf, graphite, pencil shavings, clay, dried dark cherries, moss, and gravel. The Palate features medium tannin, and medium plus acid, finishing on the dried dark cherries and graphite of the nose. All in all this is a fairly classical Bordeaux showing very nicely today. Again the '75 vintage makes it's mark by still retaining a relatively high proportion of tannin given the age. Quite a nice showing and I'm quite surprised that this was unanimously the wine of the flight.

July 18, 2021 - Over the hill. Heavy cedar, fruit gone. Money better spent elsewhere. If you have, drink up. Time is short.

June 16, 2020 - Another corked bottle from the same case.
People don't know how to properly store wine...

February 8, 2020 - From memory. Surprisingly youthful. Dark low pitched fruit with scorched earth. Medium bodied. Plenty of tannic structure on the finish. No rush on this, as it tastes like it still has 5 to 10 years at least.

December 2, 2019 - corked. Unfortunate, as this wine has been drinking extremely well.
