November 27, 2019 - Just had this with a cappuccino of porcini at bon bon restaurant in Brussels.
Excellent combination the earthy nuttiness with some acidic notes. Very good.

    August 9, 2019 - I'm drinking this 500ml a week after a most excellent 500ml of the 2001 (qv).

There's quite some difference between the two: this 1992 has significantly higher acidity which makes it rather less smooth to drink and requires much more care with pairing. I've been drinking it primarily with blue cheese which was OK, but not great. It's still a very nice wine, blending sweetness, acidity, nuttiness and a little alcohol heat, but I shall ponder what best to drink my other bottle with.
