February 28, 2022 - This wine has really come into its own, imo. Beautiful balance with a nice depth of black fruit, hint of chocolate, lovely mouth feel. The only thing hold it back from a higher rating is that it does not have superior length….not that it falls off quickly. Absolutely delicious though.

October 23, 2021 - Decanted. Jammy nose of dark fruits. Minimal sediment surprisingly. Very approachable. Medium acid and tannins. Full bodied with pleasant mouth feel but a bit tightly wound. Could use more air. Pretty yummy overall. Drink or hold.

August 22, 2020 - Opened three hours prior to dinner and decanted using a vinturi. I think it has gotten a little better with age or the decant. Dark fruit on the nose. The palate was dark berries, currents, red meat, tobacco and tree bark. A nice full finish. Very enjoyable. I will not be posting for a few days as i need to get back on my diet as cooking and drinking wine every day seems to be having an effect on my scale. See you all next weekend when my good friend Michael and I will put two giant 2012 cabernets head to head. 92+

September 12, 2018 - We pnp'd and it was ready to go. Dark fruit on the nose. The palate was blackberry, plum, red meat and tobacco. Long smooth finish.
