October 18, 2020 - Chardonnay on the nose all day long. Buttery, med acid, drinkable.but not remarkable. Dusty and light incense on the finish. Would not buy again.

June 8, 2018 - Solid, a bit grippy, fruit may be fading. Drin now, still very good for the $10 I paid.

April 10, 2017 - Golden straw colored. Oak, pineapple, vanilla and a touch of grapefruit on the nose. Taste is not as buttery/oaky as the typical California chards (thank goodness). Taste follows the nose but the grapefruit is more prominent at the end. There is a touch of salinity that was unexpected but welcomed. Medium lush body with a touch of oiliness, given the brightness of the acidity. Medium finish. Overall a good balanced California chardonnay, especially for the $15 price at Costco.
PS didn’t think it was a drink alone wine. Needs to be paired with creamy food (the herb risotto would be the least creamy food that it would work well with); cheese/crackers but not a salad that has some cheese sprinkle on it.

December 23, 2016 - Pale yellow color, Nice fresh nose, some meyer lemon, and honeysuckle notes. Notice the malolactic character without is being dominant. Very enjoyable. Very good QPR.

September 21, 2016 - Shared with friends at the Sidedoor Cafe in Gleneden, Oregon. I had a fabulous herb crusted salmon fillet cooked on a plank and drizzled with marionberry glaze served with fruited wild rice and seasonal vegetables. Hard to say what the star was, the food or the wine. Everyone loved the chardonnay and not many were white wine aficionados. Great meal, great wine!
