April 28, 2024 - Likely past it’s prime, over the hill. It’s drinking fine but held it expecting something more juicy.
Strong Kalamata olive, eucalyptus smell.
Very mellow, majority of acid is gone.
The heft of the alcohol still weighs, not in the label but feels like 14.5%. -

January 9, 2021 - Red meat, eucalyptus, and geraniums on the nose. Medium weight, classically styled body with black fruits and an uplifting energy. Herbal notes carry through to a savory, very respectable finish. Drinking very well now.

July 11, 2020 - Sweet, floral, and herbal aromatics are off the charts. Palette and body and fantastic. Acid and tannin have settled to be quite drinkable. Lots of life ahead.

May 22, 2020 - Beautiful at 7 years old. Classic cold weather Syrah characteristics - bacon fat, olives, herbs. Plush mouthfeel, silky tannins, long finish. The full package.
