October 29, 2020 - Excellent Barolo with some flowers, oriental spices and red fruit. Quite full-bodied, now drinking quite well, the tannins are still strong but nicely integrated. I guess this should be enjoyed over the next 5-10 years, a rather early blooming Barolo.

August 29, 2017 - Oh my goodness what a year in the bottle can do!!! This Barolo is firing on all cylinders. Absolutely delicious. Rounded out perfectly. Came together so well. I hope this is a good omen for the other 2011's I have been saving. So much better than last year. I will be looking for this online.

February 23, 2017 - Medium nose shows pretty fruit, dried cherry, potpourri, forest floor, not as giving as expected. Palate shows structure first, high tannins and acidity, medium plus alcohol, pretty fruit layers continue, dried red plum, blackberry, red cherry, dried raspberry, turned earth, more weight to the fruit than some Barolo, but a little less complexity. Suspect this fleshes out in 5-10 years. Overall beautiful though.

July 11, 2016 - Light Barolo. Not too complex, but nice structure. Good tannins, dried fruits. Alcohol and floral nose. Could use another year or two but very drinkable now. I think this will only get better. Decent value at $30-35.
