January 13, 2024 - Dinner 13th Jan 2024 (Catford): Dark red/brown. Aroma of oak, blackberry, varnish, smoke. More flowery aromas as the wine opened-up. Full, rich cherry and chocolate flavours. Elegant blackberry fruit. Each sip revealed more complexity. Decanted for an hour - might have been better for two hours. Superb.

February 2, 2021 - Dark cherry. Mouthcoating fruit. Orange peel.

April 14, 2020 - Well aged Barolo. Mouthfeel smooth and full. Layered dark flavor and tea. Two more left no hurry.

March 23, 2018 - Medium red, clear pink edges. Really nice Barolo nose, tar, earth, black cherry and tea. Delicious resolved black cherry flavours with a bit of soft tannins on the finish.

Much better then expected. Held it's own with a 1990 Parusso Mariondino and a 1995 Paitin.

January 1, 2016 - This wine was a nice light red. There was a lot here to like but at times it seemed a bit thin. At other times it seemed very much like a well age Barolo. A mystery but very enjoyable.
