October 31, 2022 - Enjoyable wine with dark fruit, earthy notes and serious tannic backbone -- even after 3 hour decant. A bit burly but the fruit almost enough to balance it. Long finish. Different but comparable experience with a 2016 Myriad Empyrean that I drank that night as well. I think this probably needs another 2-4 years to soften and integrate.

January 21, 2022 - Popped and poured. Nose of blackberry, currant, cedar, licorice and spice. Black fruit, cedar, licorice, spice and ripe tannins on the palate. Long finish. Full bodied. Served with chili.
