May 15, 2020 - This is really good. I wrote “bright and light” in a note last year, and yesterday it still had those qualities. There was also a subtle earthy tone this time that added depth and some complexity. It was a pleasure to drink alongside a homemade fish chowder.

March 27, 2020 - Lightly corked, but my guests couldn’t tell. Incredibly reductive upon opening. 3 hours later it had opened up but showed only the thinnest and most brittle of apple and pear notes.
I’ve had several Walter Hansel wines before and know this isn’t typical. -
