August 17, 2019 - Blood red. Pretty nose, slightly floral with fresh red fruits. Raspberry , currants and then chocolate. Some cedar and tobacco, with a creamy mouthfeel and elegant finish. Well integrated and balanced. This should be able to age for a number of years, but is drinking very well now.

March 24, 2019 - Blood red. Huge nose, huge wine. Decanted for 1 hour. Needed it -- fair bit of sediment and this does represent a bit of infanticide. High glycerine content. Nose of plums, a hint of cherry, roses and a cinnamon finish. Drinks with a lush and chewy mouthfeel that is full of fresh fruit. Unchallenging and some secondary notes beginning to emerge. More the pleasant, nice backbone, some structure and a long finish. I think this will be much better in another 2-3 years.
