  April 25, 2022 - Elegant. Popped & poured. Cork was a bit soft but manageable. Great nose. Fruit on the palate as well as some barnyard notes.

  November 16, 2020 - This was absolutely delicious. Mature flavors, how often do we get them? Integrated on all levels. Had with a 2010 Whitehall Cabernet non reserve. Liked the 1996 better.

  April 28, 2020 - Having had this wine about three or four times before, this was interesting as it was less faded than previous recent examples - the fruit was very alive and up-front. However, there was a bit of stridency and congestion and the acidity was high, feels unbalanced.

  January 20, 2020 - Garnet in color, pencil shavings, caramel and baking spices on the nose. More red fruits and cherries upon opening, then soy and savory notes after 30 minutes, soft tannins, sweet and smooth finish with hints of leather and tobacco.

  November 8, 2014 - Opened a couple of hours before and decanted about 45 minutes before drinking. Opened up beautifully. A classic CA Cab. Served with grilled steak.
