January 31, 2023 - well balanced, youthful red with crisp acidity, firm tannins and stacks of red cherry fruit. Decent "food wine" with a few years to go maturity.

October 14, 2015 - Very perfumed and herbaceous. Delicious streak of fruit, sharp acidity does indicate its youthfulness though but it has a great future.

July 9, 2015 - Youthfulness aside, this is a crunchy sour Sangiovese that has purity of fruit. Good finish that has bags of spice. Maybe a little linear rather than together at the minute but it's good already.

  • Fausto_Coppi Likes this wine:

April 3, 2015 - Medium cherry red with clearing purple rim. Powerful bouquet of red fruit, oak and violets, damson and morello cherry then coming to the fore. Palate is well balanced with lots of raspberry, damson and bilberry flavours plus lovely acidity and soft new oak/tannic balance.
This is a stylish, elegant wine that's drinking well but should reward ageing for a year or two.
