June 23, 2020 - On the nose: blackberry, mulberry leaf, blueberry, a touch of vanilla. On the palate, excellent acidity, blackberry, mulberry, tangy and very juicy. Attenuated tannin on the juicy finish...much more evolved than my last bottle.

November 7, 2019 - This has now got much better, contrary to my earlier prediction, and will probably now drink well for a while. Indeed, I wish I had kept more of it rather than drunk it up fairly quick in the false belief it was was better young and fresh. The fruit has developed most attractively into a more aromatic condition, and filled out the hollowness (what I was calling "over cleaned up") of its earlier youthfulness.

October 3, 2019 - Essentially unchanged since my last btl. Smoky mulberry, black raspberry, maybe some black cherry liqueur. On the palate, good acidity, a touch thinner than the nose suggests, pure black raspberry, with some juicy vaguely bitter notes, like a cucumber peel. A touch savory on the juicy finish.

July 25, 2019 - Still too acidic and overly fruity

December 2, 2018 - Already the once persistent deep purple of its youth is turning garnet around the rim. Still has brisk acidity typical of the variety. Lifted red fruits. Barely any sediment, a symptom of the over-thorough clean-up that is normal for this kind of wine. For drinking over the next year or two.
