  December 14, 2020 - Still looking young on the rim variation, with only a slight bit of age showing. Viscous in the glass. The aroma was enjoyable on the swirl, before the schnoz even approached the glass. Ripe blueberries, currants, mint, and faint eucalyptus. Upfront on the palette, it is fruit forward in true Hall form. It hits a bit on the hot side, but it is a 14.9% ABV, and it isn't at all off putting. Interested to see if the tannins integrate a little further with a couple more years in the cellar. Enjoyed with aged Ribeye, green beans, and Au gratin potatoes. Solid weekday dinner at home wine.
