June 30, 2015 - We tried a couple bottles of this, one from Total Wine and one from Kroger. This one does not quite match the concentrated flavors of the other few Portuguese reds we have tried lately, but still a very nice combination of fruit and earthiness. A bit on the subdued side. Raspberry and cranberry fruit. Maybe a touch of sweetness. Some flinty earth with mellow cranberry on the finish.
