May 24, 2007 - Flasche mit gutem Füllstand, Korken nicht ganz durch. Der Wein recht trübe, mit gesunder Altweinnase, etwas erdig und gemüsig aber ohne Fehlton. Ohne Dekantieren gleich serviert, ist der erste Kontakt im Mund beinahe ein sicheres Todesurteil: reichlich Säure und sonst nicht viel. Mit Kontakt an der Luft fängt sich der Wein aber ziemlich schnell, und nach einer Stunde ist die Säure nicht mehr zu dominant, mittleres Volumen, gute, noch recht kräftige Tanninstruktur. Die erdige Komponente bleibt, aber jetzt in einem komplexeren Gefüge, hier und dort blitzt in nase und Mund auch noch etwas dezente Frucht auf. Sicherlich über den Höhepunkt hinweg, aber durchaus noch interessant. Bei Julio, offen. (87/100)
