November 19, 2019 - Acidic and light for a zinfandel grape, as well as very smokey. Drank very nicely and stood up to 14 years of bottle aging well.
The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, black currant (cassis), prune and dust. It tastes like blackberry, black currant (cassis), prune and smokey bacon. The body is medium. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.
