November 9, 2023 - I think I got this as a sample bottle and never really gave it much thought. I stood this bottle up about 2 weeks prior to drinking. I am shocked how good it is. Higher score due to curiosity factor.

Color. Dark brick red, solid core. Bleeding to brick on the edge. Medium to stronger watery edge.

Nose. Cedar, aged cherry juice, cinnamon, kirsch, a touch of cocoa.

Palate. Tart cherry, oak, big tannins, crunchy acidity. A little raisin on the finish.
