April 14, 2015 - Lots of sediment, but this is unfiltered, unlike other roses. So, not clear, but slightly cloudy copperish color. Not much nose, and only enough sweetness to keep from being overly tart. Better with food, so there's another exception. I still like it, but will see how the next bottle goes.

It is unfiltered and unfined, and I tried to make sure my label picture shows this. Winemaker Jim Fischer says he wants this wine to be appreciated like a red; drunk at cellar temperature with full expression of the grape and vintage. I like OR Pinot Gris, and am curious to see how I like it.
