September 12, 2019 - If a wine could make you dizzy and blow your socks off this would be it. Not sure champagne can get better than this but I welcome the challenge. Amazing purity, finesse, structure, and length. So good, so long, and virtually perfect. Wowsers! Drank at La Paulee but forgot to post note...

November 29, 2018 - Holy shit balls this was amazing.....from Magnum. Minimum 25 years on the lees
Nose is super powerful....flint, gunpowder, ginger, coffee, truffle, chocolate, lemon custard, marzipan, lime, burnt brulee, flowers, minerals, biscuit....it just goes on and one...
Palate shows similar flavours of lime custard, chocolate, truffle, coffee, flint, marzipan, white flowers, pepper, brulee, gunpowder and earth....utterly stunning.
Finish is long....super long....so complex...goes on for minutes.

June 3, 2018 - From magnum which is the only way this is sold I believe. Just awesome in every way. Right out of the gate this was fresh and clean with lemon, toast, brioche, good acidity and energy. Had a glass then put the cork in and had it about 3 hours later. The bubbles had dissipated to leave an amazing still wine with some caramel, coffee, lemon peel and marzipan. Just an awesome experience all around. Highly recommended.

June 1, 2018 - Henri Jayer & Disciples (15 USW): [Magnum] Big inviting nose, some reduction, classic DP yeasty and eggy notes. Icing sugar and frosting. Lemon meringue. Surprised by how tart and tight the fruit is in the first glass. Put a stopper in this and came back to it after the reds and this was really kicking into her with textbook DP toastineas paired with incredible freshness and rich yellow fruit flavors. Sometime the P3 series are underwhelming and thin, and sometime they are absolutely epic, like this mag.

November 5, 2015 - From magnum. Golden and creamy. Browned butter, fresh straw, faint funk, haysmoke. A somewhat dry finish with lingering notes of walnut and almond. Significant but subtle flavor profile.
