September 1, 2023 - Nose: cassis, tobacco, dried fig, mushroom
Palate: blackberry, graphite, mushroom
Decent fruit, good acid, medium tannins, medium finish. -

January 25, 2023 - Settled and fine tannic structure. Medium purple hue with slight bricking on the rim. Morello cherry, black cherry, 68% bittersweet chocolate, licorice, raw fennel. Drinking brilliantly right now with another 10 good years in front of it.

April 17, 2022 - Took about an hour in the decanter to open up. Soft tannins, some heat initially but it died down rather quickly. Definitely get the earth from the CF with the merlot rounding it out but subtlety doing so. As a Hudson member, I bought this through my allocation at $150. This is more along the lines of a $75-100 bottle imo. Nice bottle but not worth that price. 92
