  November 2, 2017 - Significant power, including tannic grip, a rarity for Napa Valley wines (which tend to be 'manufactured'), especially in the price range. It is over oaked, not offensively so, but over oaked nonetheless. Overall, a very good expression (partially masked by oak) of Cabernet Sauvignon in Yountville terroir, and a very good price. It has the substance to age for at least seven to ten years.

  August 4, 2017 - This is a very nice QPR.
  
  Popped and poured.
  Solid fruit with black cherry, blueberry and chocolate notes. Moderate complexity. Tannins resolved over 30 minutes.
  
  Not a deep, complex wine. But for the money, nice fruit and an enjoyable drinker. Enjoyed everyone of the 7 bottles I bought. Would get some more if I can find

  April 9, 2017 - Very solid Cab as always from Chandon - don't think too much of this is made each year, since it doesn't factor into their sparklings. This is their "front yard" vineyard in Yountville.
