March 2, 2022 - Had a couple bottles over last few days...in a Riedel vinum which paired nicely...very well balanced, easy going, zen like...almost new world...red cherry, blackberry, some graphite, bright fruit

December 24, 2021 - Directly from the bottle: very little sediment, an opaque plum purple color with some translucency at the edges. The nose is closed, with a funk - mushrooms, wet leaves, barnyard. Initially the balance is toward acid, with fruit secondary and perhaps a hint of tannins. A lingering finish with a saline note.

After 2 hours of decant, the nose has opened up slightly, revealing a hint of violets and blueberry. The acid has retired somewhat but the tannins are nowhere to be seen. Overall I am a bit underwhelmed, this bottle is somewhat lacking in intensity and structure.

December 2, 2021 - Well that smells really darn good. Tastes just a bit green but with much precision across the palate.

October 9, 2021 - There wasn't a whole lot going on here. One hour decant. Flavor was muted with mainly just one consistent note through finish leaving us wanting for more complexity. Nose was typical left bank. This was our first from this chateau. Unsure if it is the vintage or lack of age, but overall it left us unimpressed at the $80 price point. Not a bad wine, just not a great left bank Bdx.

July 7, 2021 - Youthful. Medium nose intensity with notes of cassis, black berry, pencil lead, graphite, chocolate and cedar. Medium+ acidity and tannin. Decanted for 1 hour and drinking from 375ml.
