June 15, 2022 - Light ruby just showing a hint of bricking, open nose with crab apples, nice medium body, some acid with sour cherries leading, long smooth finish. Fantastic wine, aging well, still delightful.

July 6, 2019 - Friends brought this to my 7/6/19 birthday party. It had a rich and ripe nose of black cherry, blackberry, mocha, char and baking spice aromas. The palate was rich, ripe and dry with flavors of black cherry, burnt toast, mocha and baking spice.

January 12, 2019 - One hour decant. Deep rosy ruby color. Cherry, raspberry, brown sugar and slate on the pleasant nose. Satiny smooth palate with soft acidity. Soft tannins on the long finish. The ability to be so smooth and long simultaneously is very impressive. The ‘13 vintage in Willamette Valley continues to wow me.

June 3, 2017 - Delightful now and has potential to get much better. Classic Pinot Noir.

November 19, 2016 - Q4 - 2016 Tasting - Anything Goes Theme (New York, NY): #10 of 22 wines tasted double blind. Surprise/surprise - I think we have a pinot here in this line-up of deep/dark wines. Color is a light translucent cherry red. Nose is red cherry fruit. On the palate the fresh acidity strikes me first, a real shift after the wines previously tasted. The fruit and acid are in nice balance. My guess was a burgundy. Very nice, but in a line up of more powerful wines only third quartile for me and zero pennies voted from the group.
