December 3, 2022 - Young and fruity Bordeaux red blend. Smooth drinking, medium bodied, medium alcohol. Enjoyable but lacks sophistication. There are better choices in the same price range.

Stewed black cherries and dark plums, black pepper, tobacco and cigar box. Tastes over extracted, over ripe. I can also feel the alcohol. I can definitely see what the winemaker was going for here; but this is not my style of Bordeaux at all! I guess I'll say that it's a "Californian" style Bordeaux and is perfect for a certain type of consumer. -
