February 21, 2023 - 30 minute decant. Nose of black currants, charred oak, and a dash of cigar ash that was almost acrid. Rubbery black fruits on the palate with black olive, dry blackberry, and earthy wet soil. Sharp finish of minerals and tart boysenberry with medium tannins rolling into lingering gravel and crushed rock, with a bit of a sour edge at the finale.

    September 11, 2022 - With Per. Against 2011 vintage and Pressac 2014.
2011 was evidently more integrated. Tannins really silky. The 2014 was very similar in profile, perhaps a little more acid and alcohol poking a little at least in the beginning. Give the 2014 a couple of more years. Nice St Julien. The Pressac had fatter fruit and needs even more time

February 26, 2022 - God og moden duft, medium intensitet. Mørke bær (bjørnebær, solbær), søtlakris, mørk sjokolade, tobakk. God struktur, myke tanniner. Medium+ fylde. Mørke bær (bjørnebær). Bra lengde og meget god å drikke nå.

January 19, 2020 - The bouquet is a bit locked. On the palate juicy red berries, good acidity and tannin and a touch of pleasant sweetness. Still a few years too young. 89+ for now.

May 31, 2019 - Nice structure, herbaceous with dark fruit.
