April 10, 2015 - This is a wine from an unbonded winery. The grapes are from Dry Creek Valley but the wine is made just south of Reno.
Not quite a fruit bomb but the wine is on the riper side of the taste spectrum. Mostly dark fruits. The flavor is most intense on the attack. Short finish.
It is made in a style preferred by the late Eric McClary, the guy who created Nevada's most famous beer, Great Basin Brewing Co. Icky.
It was a bonus wine at the wine tasting.
