Community Tasting Notes 1

July 14, 2015 - Not overly dark in colour, cloudy and matte. Meaty on the nose, some smoky bacon, red flowers, dark berries, again mineral and spicy - ginger? Intriguing and complex. Powerful and intensely mineral on the palate. Pretty firm and tight without showing too much fruit. Spicy, muscular and a bit lean. Not heavy and very precise. Long. Needs time, but could be a bit more generous. 91-92+
