Community Tasting Notes 1

  • augustwine Likes this wine:

April 18, 2015 - Upon opening the bottle and taking our first sip, my husband looked at me and said "This is an old wine. Are we gonna respect it or we gonna toss it?" It opened up beautifully after about an hour. Soft and well-balanced. Good acidity. Fruit is mostly gone, but it's still tasty and satisfying. Light yet somehow lush. You can taste the oak. I'd drink it in the next six months.
